The REGION 16 of AHA SCHOLARSHIP fund was created to recognize accomplishment, ambition and aspiration for a college education by an individual lacking sufficient financial resources to accomplish his or her educational goals and having involvement with Arabian horses. A $1000.00 scholarship is available for one qualified applicant each year. Scholarship application is confidential, but information not pertaining to finances may be used for a press release.

PAYMENTS WILL BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE TO BE CREDITED TOWARD THE APPLICANT'S ACCOUNT. NO FUNDS WILL BE SENT TO THE APPLICANT

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY JUNE 1 and Mailed to the Region 16 Director.

QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT:

1. Must be able to demonstrate a financial need.

2. Must currently be a high school senior or attending an institute of higher learner full time. Age is not a determining factor.

3. Must have an ongoing interest in and a commitment to the Arabian horse.

4. Must submit this application to Region 16 by June 1.
