 REGION 16 AHA, INC.
YEARLING JACKPOT – 3 YR OLD HALTER FUTURITY
& MATURITY JACKPOT PERFORMANCE RULES

THIS PROGRAM STARTS WITH MARES NOMINATED IN 2007. PREVIOUS RULES WILL APPLY TO HORSES NOMINATED PRIOR TO 2007.

THE REGION 16 FUTURITY is a program for Registered Purebred and Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian Horses owned by members of Region 16.

Region 16 will add 1000.00 to the funds each year.

All Nomination and Re-Nomination fees will be returned to participants in the form of payout money divided into the appropriate division based on entries. Region 16 will bear the expense of operation the futurity program and the cost of ribbons and trophies.

Classes will be held each year at the Region 16 Championship Show.

The futurity is open to all owners and breeders of Purebred or Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian horses who are paid up “Competitions” members through a Region 16 club for the current year.

HORSES MUST BE SHOWN AND/OR RIDDEN BY AN AMATEUR.

Horses nominated and later sold are still eligible for the Futurity if the new owner becomes a member of Region 16 and the proper fees are paid. It is up to the original nominee to inform the new owner that the horse is enrolled. It is then the responsibility of the NEW owner to inform Region 16 of the change in ownership.

No horse will be allowed to show unless all fees are paid up.

It is up to the futurity nominee to notify the Region 16 Futurity Chairman of any address changes.

A committee made up of the Futurity Chairman and four members at large appointed by the Regional Director shall be the final authority for all disputes regarding the Region 16 futurity.

All Nomination and re-nomination fees may be prepaid at any time. For pre paid horses rules under Nomination #4 will apply in case the mare does not produce a live foal.
