Region 16 AHA, Inc. Frequent Rider Milestone Award Program

The Region 16 AHA, Inc. Frequent Rider Milestone Award Program rewards riders for every hour that they spend riding or driving or mileage accumulated for Trail riding an Arabian or Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian horse in non-competitive activities. We are committed to recognizing and rewarding the riders who work with and enjoy Arabian and Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian horses – in all types of non-competitive riding and driving. The best part of the Region 16 AHA, Inc. Frequent Rider Milestone Award Program is that the type of riding doesn't matter as long as it is non-competitive! Whether you use an Arabian or Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian horse to trail ride, do ranch work, participate in parades, take riding lessons, train under saddle, or just ride or drive for pleasure, you can now be recognized and rewarded for what you love most.

Riders who would like to participate in this program must fill out the Region 16 AHA, Inc. Frequent Rider Milestone Award Program Nomination/Reporting Form and pay a $5 annual processing fee to join. Program participants are defined as an individual rider, not a specific horse and rider combination. This means that as a rider, you may ride any number of horses, regardless of whether you own them or not, as long as they are all Arabians or Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabians registered with the Arabian Horse Association.
NOTE: Participation in any Region 16 AHA, Inc. program requires a current and continuing membership with a Local Region 16 Club or the Arabian Horse Association.

Region 16 AHA, Inc. Frequent Rider Milestone Award Rules & Regulations

A $ 5.00 annual fee is required with the original Nomination/Reporting Form.
This is not a showing or competitive program. It is to acknowledge the time riding your horse. Whether you ride for pleasure or schooling, Region 16 would like to recognize the hours or miles you log with your horse.
You must maintain a current membership through a Region 16 club or a direct membership with AHA throughout the program.
This program is open to Junior and Adult riders.
Horse ownership is not required. The horse must be a registered Purebred Arabian or Half/Anglo Arabian.
The $5.00 annual fee must be paid before any points will accrue from the previous year.
Remember this program is on the Honor System. “An award does not have any meaning if it is not earned”.

**Hours spent riding prior to enrollment in the Frequent Rider Program are not eligible, even if they were accumulated during the same calendar year**

What are the Region 16 AHA, Inc. Frequent Rider Award Program Milestones & Awards?
The Frequent Rider Program rewards you for the time you spend riding a registered Arabian or Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian horse in activities like trail rides, lessons, ranch work, parades, and more. By accumulating the hours that you spend riding and reach the following milestones, you will receive a Region 16 Lapel Pin and Certificate appropriate for the achieved Milestone Level.

How do I report my hours?
After you have enrolled in the Region 16 Frequent Rider Program using the Nomination/Reporting Form and paid the annual $5 processing fee, you can update the number of hours you've ridden and make changes to your account whenever it is convenient for you using the reporting form. When you reach a milestone we will send you the appropriate award.
